Experience.

Genesis

The genesis of the staging concept was my work with two associates.  They excelled at their craft, but the needs of selected clients required the perspective of an independent, experienced generalist, and they reached out to me.

We have worked with a variety of their clients:

  • A residential insulation contractor seeking to maximize the long term value of the enterprise, preserve owner legacy and allow key members of the organization to realize their ambitions

  • A trustee responsible for a compounding pharmacy - after identifying a trust provision needing urgent attention, outlined local market research, and strategies for succession and continuity

  • An Atlantic seaboard real estate firm which had hired a new general manager to embark upon an aggressive expansion plan – we identified business brokers, proposed integration coaching for the organization, and a succession plan

  • A real estate brokerage whose owner’s wife had started its property management division and was ready to retire - the company needed continuity strategies.

Another contributing element to our staging concept was ongoing services for two individuals who had sought my advice:

  • A veterinary practice – beginning with assistance in recovering from the sudden disability of its business manager partner, leading to a revision of accounting practices –  and now positioning the firm to optimize its market value

  • Analyzing the feasibility of self-insuring for worker’s compensation for a facility services contractor with integrated chemical manufacturing and distribution – with a subsequent project of developing a succession plan for the management team.
